About Mrs Debbie

Hi I'm Debbie

I am a wife and a mother of 3 children

I am a great granddaughter of Henri Moser
who is a Famous Utah Artist

I went to Weber State University and started studying Art but then changed and got my Bacholor's degree in Social Work with a minor in Sociology.
I worked years for the State of Utah in various fields, from mental health, to foster care, to child protection to working with people with disabilities.

In 1997 I met my husband and we were married in American Fork.
We tried for years to have children and then we decided to adopt.  We got our two beautiful boys (at birth)  and then I got pregnant with my girl shortly after we adopted my second son.

I quit my job and became a full time mother.
Now that all my children are in school I have time to work on my true passion:
ART

I have always loved art.  It started with coloring in coloring books.  My grandfather gave me art books, my parents gave me all kinds of materials to help me.  I took classes in junior high and high school.  I even studied in Europe.   I went to an Art School there in Germany.
I then went to college and took a few classes but really didn't know what to do with art, that's why I went for a Social Work degree.

I started volunteering in my kids classes.  I would volunteer to teach an art lesson.  I then helped a teacher develop art lessons for teachers and then started volunteering in other teacher's classrooms.
I then was approached by a parent asking if I teach art out of my home...she would pay me.

Well that's when Doodlebugs were created.  I finished the basement, put in an art studio and got my business license.

Here are some of my own Art pieces:
