Why is Blue Dog Blue? by 3rd graders

Why is Blue Dog Blue?

I taught my son's third grade class yesterday and we talked about the artist George Rodrigue. It was a lot of fun to learn about how Blue Dog came about and how the artist expressed how he just painted what he loved. So, the Third graders learned how to draw blue dog. Then they had to think where Blue dog was going to visit. They were very creative on where Blue dog went. Check it out!
